Quality & testing
What we check, and what we don't claim
This page describes a process rather than making a promise. Where we say a batch is released at a given dose tolerance, that is what happens in the factory — not a warranty we would have to disclaim three clauses into the terms.
Manufacturing
Where they come from
Contract-manufactured to our formulation, in facilities that already produce oral pouches at scale. We are not going to pretend a small brand owns a factory.
- Standard
- Manufactured under HACCP food-safety controls, in facilities operating to recognised food manufacturing standards.
- Formulation
- Ours. The 1:1 caffeine-to-theanine ratio, the pH adjustment and the flavour profiles are specified by us, not picked from a catalogue.
- Registration
- Sold as food supplements, notified to the relevant authority before sale as UK rules require.
- Batch records
- Every tin carries a batch code and a best-before date on its base, so a specific run can be traced.
Testing
What gets measured
Caffeine is the ingredient where accuracy matters most, because the whole proposition is that you can count it. If the dose is not what the tin says, nothing else on this site means anything.
- 01
Caffeine content, per batch
Assayed against the declared dose before release. A batch outside tolerance does not ship — it is the one specification we will scrap stock over.
- 02
Microbiological screening
Standard food-safety panel on each production run, since these go in your mouth and stay there for twenty minutes.
- 03
Heavy metals
Screened on raw material intake for the actives, which is where contamination in a supplement supply chain actually originates.
- 04
Weight and fill
In-line checks across the run, so the last pouch in the tin carries the same dose as the first.
Deliberately absent
Claims we are not making
A claim that fails when a customer checks it is worse than no claim at all. These are the ones this category makes routinely and we do not.
“Lab tested” with no document
We are not publishing a certificate library yet, so we do not use the phrase as a badge. When per-batch certificates are published, this page will link to them and say which batches are covered.
“Clinically proven”
Caffeine has a large evidence base. Our specific product has not been through a clinical trial, and those are different statements.
“All natural”
The caffeine is anhydrous — purified and dry. That is a good thing for dose accuracy and it is not a natural-foods claim.
“No crash”
The theanine takes the edge off the peak. It does not repeal the adenosine that has been building behind the block all day.
On the label
What the tin has to tell you
UK labelling rules require a high-caffeine advisory on products at this concentration. We put the numbers on the front rather than the legal minimum on the back.
