02Analytics cookies
None are set at present. The consent banner asks about them because we intend to add analytics, and the honest sequence is to ask before setting rather than after.
If you accept and we later add an analytics script, it will load at that point. If you reject, it will not load at all — the loader is gated in code, so there is no path by which a non-essential script runs without consent.
03Changing your mind
Clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit. Rejecting has no effect on the site working — the basket uses strictly necessary storage that does not require consent.
04Why local storage rather than cookies
Both are covered by the same rules under PECR — the regulation covers storing or accessing information on your device, whatever the mechanism. We use local storage because neither of these values needs to be sent to a server on every request.
